Dear GitHub Support Team,
I am writing this email with extreme urgency, helplessness and anxiety, to sincerely appeal for the immediate unban of my GitHub account. the registered email of this account is [qlong8873@gmail.com].
Here is the full timeline of what happened: I registered this GitHub account yesterday morning, and in the afternoon of the same day, I paid $10 to subscribe to the GitHub Copilot Pro service, with the only purpose of using this tool to assist with the final code debugging and data analysis for my graduate graduation experiment. However, after only 2 hours of normal, light and compliant use of the account and Copilot service, my account was suddenly banned without any prior warning, and I have not received any clear official notice explaining the specific reason for this ban.
I swear with all sincerity that during the entire process from registration to account suspension, I have strictly abided by all GitHub User Agreement, Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. I have not engaged in any prohibited behaviors: no account sharing, no automated script abuse, no uploading of illegal/infringing/malicious content, no spam, no brute-force operations, and no violation of any platform rules. I just used Copilot Pro normally to assist in writing the code for my graduation experiment, and did not perform any other operations at all.
The most critical and devastating thing for me right now is that I am a graduate student and I am currently at the final, irreversible critical stage of my graduation. The deadline for my graduation thesis submission and experiment defense is rapidly approaching, and all the final code optimization, experimental data processing and thesis writing of my graduation project are highly dependent on the GitHub Copilot Pro service. This sudden account ban has completely disrupted all my work progress, and I am now facing the huge risk of being unable to complete my graduation work on time, and even failing to graduate smoothly, which will completely affect my future academic and career development.
I am just a student who just registered a GitHub account yesterday. I have no idea what trivial and unintentional operation triggered the account ban by mistake, and I feel extremely desperate and helpless right now. The $10 subscription fee I paid is saved from my tight student living allowance, and I haven't even had the chance to use the service properly. What makes me more collapsed is that this ban is directly related to whether I can graduate smoothly.
I sincerely beg the support team to help me check the status of my account in the background, inform me of the specific reason for the ban, and unban my account as soon as possible. This matter is a matter of life and death for my graduation. I will definitely strictly abide by all GitHub rules and guidelines in the future, and will never have any inappropriate operations.
Thank you so much for your time, patience and help. I am looking forward to your reply and solution urgently.
Best regards
